I'm so excited to announce another sponsor for the New Baby, New Fluff event, starting tomorrow! The sponsor, Cloth Baby LLC, has a variety of different cloth diapers and diapering accessories for you to choose from!
Cloth Baby LLC is a company based in Louisiana. The owner is a mom name Okiema who is passionate about living a greener life by using cloth diapers. Cloth Baby LLC has a variety of brands to choose from such as Kawaii, Tiny Tush, Rumparooz and more!
Okiema sent me a Kawaii Dual Closure One-Size Pocket Diaper to review! I have never seen one of these diapers before! I was very excited to give it a try! Check out my very first video review of this diaper below!
I really like the Kawaii Dual Closure diaper. I'm not usually a fan of aplix diapers but the aplix on this diaper holds up really well and sticks to the laundry tabs well so it doesn't stick to everything else when I wash it. We haven't had any leaks or blowouts in this diaper and with the dual closure feature I know this will fit Isaac until he potty trains! Here's an action shot of Isaac wearing the diaper!
What do you think of the dual closure feature? Are you usually a fan of aplix or snaps?
Buy It!
Win It!
Cloth Baby LLC is sponsoring the New Baby, New Fluff giveaway hop by giving away a $15 Gift Certificate to their shop! The Giveaway starts tomorrow, March 6th!
I have not tried this brand yet! I'm going to have to check them out!!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried Kawaii diapers. I prefer my Best Bottoms. But, for an inexpensive diaper, Kawaii looks nice.
ReplyDeleteI received a Kawaii free with purchase and actually crossed my fingers to get another the next time around and did. I really like the Kawaiis in snaps (I have not tried aplix) and they are a go-to diaper for me.
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer snaps because we have multiple children in cloth and I want diapers closures to last longer. But for newborns, aplix is a nice feature for fast changes! Anne Sweden
ReplyDeleteInteresting closure. I haven't tried out this diaper yet. Thanks for sharing.

My SIL uses these diapers and has had a great experience thus far. I like that they have cross-over snaps for a nice fit.
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer snaps. They seems to last longer/look better for longer depending on the brand. That dual closures system looks pretty great! I've never seen that before. Great video review too!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to cloth, but I think I'd prefer to use the snaps.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used them yet since my little man won't be here until July, but I am partial to snaps since they seem to last longer. I do plan to have a couple aplix, though, just because they are easier for people who aren't used to them.
ReplyDeleteI think its interesting! I am usually a fan of snaps!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how I feel about the dual closure. For ease of use I like aplix but when it comes to washing I prefer snaps
ReplyDeleteI like snaps for home aplix for out!
ReplyDeleteI think the dual closure feature is interesting. I usually like snaps.
ReplyDeleteI do not like dual closure and we prefer snaps
ReplyDeleteIve never seen the dual closures before. I prefer snaps because they seem to last longer and look nicer
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen the dual closures too much. Kinda neat. I like snaps. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried dual closure diapers yet but the idea intrigues me. I like both aplix and snap closures for different reasons. It is easier to get a perfect fit with aplix but it is harder for baby to get snaps undone. I would love to try this dual closure diaper – it seems like the best of both worlds!
ReplyDeleteI have some of both. The aplix are easier to put on but I don't like how they wear out. I like the dual aplix feature a lot.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of dual closure. I think I'm going to like snaps better but aplix may result in a better fit.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the dual closure, but it definitely is interesting. I do prefer snaps though
ReplyDeleteUsually I'm a fan of snaps, but this might make me love velcro more. I love that it's a dual closure!!!!
ReplyDeletei'm a snap girl. im not sure even a dual closure would make me like aplix more.
ReplyDeleteWhile the duel closure would probably be best for older tots, I'm an old fashion hook and loop closure, myself. I'm interested in how the snaps work, i've heard great things! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the snaps! And that dual closure is interesting!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the dual closure it would be great for my toddler. I like both aplix and snaps for different reasons, my diapers are mixed :)
ReplyDeleteThe dual closure looks like an ok idea, but my son is thin around thr waist so the snaps wouldnt be used for a while. I prefer snaps, because little man likes to remove diapers with aplix.... :(
ReplyDeleteI am a snap fan myself, but don't mind the occasional aplix if on a really good diaper.
ReplyDeleteI usually get snaps since they seem to hold up longer, but aplix is a lot easier!
ReplyDeleteNever seen anything like this before! What a neat concept. I'm a bigger fan of snaps.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this before! I prefer aplix though! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to Cloth diapers, so I'm not sure which I prefer (yet!). Dual closure seems like it would offer added protection which is a plus!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried aplix because I'm afraid it will get weak and also poke the diaper snagging it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sticking with snaps!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the dual closure before... I do like the idea since different ones change little guys diaper and they go between snap or aplix. I'm easy either way, but I prefer to have snaps when we're away from home.
ReplyDeleteI prefer snap closures because the diapers hold up better over time...however aplix provides a better fit and is less intimidating to hubby & sitters. I guess I like both :-)
ReplyDeleteThis certainly looks interesting, but I prefer snaps.
ReplyDeleteI prefer snaps, but my lo isn't due til this summer, so we will see if that changes!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of this closure but I like snaps.
ReplyDeleteI like snaps best.
ReplyDeleteI still prefer the snaps. I think the aplix will just be in the way for the wider adjustments.
ReplyDeleteI've heard snaps last longer than aplix, but I think the dual closer would be neat to try!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which one I like better - I am a FTM and haven't tried either. Just starting out building my stash!
ReplyDeletei generally prefer snaps but I would like to try this
ReplyDeleteWe're brand new to cloth, baby is due next month, so I don't know if I prefer Aplix or snap yet. I think the dual closure is cool.
ReplyDeletethat is a pretty neat feature.
ReplyDeletea good way to secure it to the bigger babies.
i tend to lean towards snaps because i worry aplex will come loose.
that is a pretty neat feature.

i've tried both aplix and snaps they both work great i like aplix for smaller babies cuz you can adjust the legs with it and its easier for daddy to use
ReplyDeleteWe love the kawaii cloth diapers out of all of them! Great blog =)
ReplyDeleteWe use Kawaii aplix and love them for the most part. They were super inexpensive $5 each on their website when you buy 24 of them. After 6 months the laundry tabs dont' work anymore, but the velcro is still super sticky. They dry quickly and work great for us during the day.
