Update on Baby Gavin

Today my friend Nacita shared on her facebook that the doctor's have told her there is nothing more than can do to fix baby Gavin's lungs and that the damage is irreversible. They told her, his mother, that he will die, it is just a matter of time.

As a mother myself I cannot even begin to fathom hearing those words being spoken about my child. It brings tears to my eyes and pain to my heart to think about what Nacita and Josh are going through.

Please pray for a miracle for baby Gavin. Pray that God's will be done. If it is not his will for Gavin to live, pray that God will send his comfort and love to Nacita and family. Please also spread the word about sweet Gavin and his family if you can. God is big and he is in the miracle business...we just have to pray and believe! Thank you.

  6. I will definitely keep them in my prayers. Miracles do still occur today, you never know when you will get one. 26 years ago, at the end of this month, my mother was told my sister would most likely die before the day was out. It was touch and go for about 2 weeks, but she is alive and thriving and has two children of her own, with a third on the way. She too had problems with her lungs. You just never know what God will do. As I said, I will keep them in my prayers.

  12. As a mother who has lost a child I can tell you that your friend will need the support of those around her like never before.

It breaks my heart to hear that it's now possibly happening to another mother out there.

I will pray for her and her precious Gavin.

  13. They are all in my thoughts and prayers! My daughter was a twin but we lost the other baby. My son almost had to be delivered at 29 weeks and the doctors can say now that he probably wouldn't have survived. We are still dealing with some heart issues that he has, but he's going strong.

This gave me goosebumps & tears. I just don't know what else to say. :(
