Tell me a bit about yourself and your family.
I live a fairy tale life..I truly do. Fifteen years ago I met my husband underneath the fireworks on the 4th of July. Though I didn't see his face (he was wearing a helmut on his motorcycle) I was mesmerized and told my sister and my friend I would marry that man some day. They laughed it off but I truly honestly knew this would be my husband. 3 years later we were married on the beaches of the Bahamas at sunset with all of our family there. 13 months later we concieved our daughter. Flash forward to today and I am a mom to a hormonal pre-teen.

What is your blog about/What do you like to write about in your blog?
My main focus is raising a pre teen. I like to write about articles that I would, as a mom, search answers for. ie: decorating a preteens room, peer pressure, living with your tweens mood swings.
I also will post amazing deals I come across and I have a recipe section called Sunday fixin's. This section hosts my own tried and true easy peesy recipes. I also love to post crafts that my little girl and I will do. I also do reviews and giveaways, but with my holiday guide done I am sort of burnt out and have cut down on the amount of reviews I am doing in January.
What inspired you to start a blog?
I use to blog my poetry and was an avid sweepstaker. I noticed all the giveaways I was entering was on blogs. I thought to myself I could do that! When I switched to blogspot I started posting about giveaways I had entered, and it just grew from there.
Do you have any blogging pet peeves?
Pet peeves..oh yes, the ranking is annoying. I have a faithful following. My page receives roundabout 2800 unique visitors a month and yet a page rank of zero. Some sponsors don't care if you produce quality writing, have a great following, to them its all about your page rank :::sighs:::
Do you have any big goals for your blog?
Yes ! I would love to be the go to page for any and all things related to parenting a pre-teen. I want to be the Dr. Phil of the pre-teen blogosphere. I also am in the works of getting more local sponsors. My demographics for readers are spread out throughout the US and want to gain a heavier NY metro area following,
What are some of your favorite blogs to read?
I love Ten Talents, she did an amazing thing on her blog that filled me with admiration. She started a hop called this for that. It was very useful in helping beginner bloggers as well as experienced ones. It was a McLinky where you could post a request such as I need GFC followers or could you comment on my post, the object was you could post a request but had to fullfill the 3 people directly above you requests, She also had a low entry lowdown for giveaways although sadly she will be stopping both these.
