Did you know that the indoor air in your house can be 2-5 times more polluted than the outdoor air?! Or that a lot of the most conventional brand dish soaps are petroleum based? With Seventh Generation you don't have to worry about either of these issues with your cleaning products! Seventh Generation products are safe for the air, surfaces, people, pets, and the environment! I am excited to share with you Seventh Generation's latest project, the Cleanhouse Challenge!
Seventh Generation and Real Simple are teaming up to give you the Cleanhouse Challenge. It is a virtual tour through a home with cleaning tips, ways to be greener, information on Seventh Generation cleaning products, and COUPONS you can print! I learned a lot of useful information that I didn't know! Plus I was able to print some really great coupons for Seventh Generation products! Also, after completing every room in the house Seventh Generation will donate $10 to 350.org, an environmental organization focused on solving the climate crisis!
To take the Cleanhouse Challenge, go HERE to get started!
I was given the opportunity to review some of Seventh Generations environmentally safe cleaning products. I received the wood cleaner, granite and stone cleaner, stainless steel cleaner, natural dish liquid, and natural laundry detergent packs.
All of these products are environmentally safe and made with natural ingredients. They all work really well too! In my opinion, they work just as well, if not better than the other conventional brands! My favorites are the wood cleaner and the detergent packs! We have a lot of wood products in our house so the wood cleaner is great! It is made with coconut oil, which I love, and cleans really well! It leaves our wood super shiny and smelling great! The detergent packs work great and are so easy to use! You just throw in a packet with the water running and it dissolves into the wash! It's hypoallergenic and has no optical brighteners dyes, or synthetic fragrances. It gets the clothes really clean and even takes out stains!
It makes me feel good to use Seventh Generation products when cleaning my house. I love that I am using all natural products and not causing harm to any of the products in my house or to my loved ones by the cleaning products I use!

ReplyDeleteI like their suggestion to use empty paper towel holders to keep the shape of boots. I've always used old magazines, but this would work, too!

ReplyDeleteI learned their dish detergent is made up of 95% plant-based materials.

I love their detergent and am excited about their granite cleaner because I've yet to find a green one that is really safe on granite. I learned to clean mildew off my boys' shower curtain with baking soda.
ReplyDeleteI learned you should by energy star certified appliances
ReplyDeleteIf we all switched to just one 25 oz bottle of their dish soap it would save 125K barrels of oil. That would be enough to cool 7,200 homes for a year. That's amazing.
ReplyDeleteI learned that we should start buying thermal shades to be energy efficient!
ReplyDeleteDid not know about the wood and granite cleaners...have only used the disinfectants before.
ReplyDeleteUse thermal blinds to keep the heat out during the summer!
