Koliden’s Gifts is another local business from another friend I went to school with! She makes so many awesome and beautiful handmade products! And every time I look she is working on something new or a new idea! Even though I don’t have a  little girl, I do have a niece so I was super excited to review some girly products from Koliden’s Gifts!

About the Designer:

I am a stay at home mom of four year old twins and a one year old. I have beenmarried to my best friend for 6 years. I live in Hartwell, Ga.I make a variety of things. Gift baskets, diaper cakes, hair bows, tutus, felt appliqués, bridal veils.I am inspired mostly by my customers. They will ask me "can you do this?" and I will go with it. That's how I got started with most of my different bow items. 

I have only been doing this since February when I started making Valentine's Day Gift Baskets for people in hart, Elbert, and Franklin counties. It was a huge success. So I decided to add more.

The Review:

I received a tutu and headband to review from Koliden’s Gift. I reviewed the products on my 4 month old niece, Layla. Now Layla is itty bitty (she was only 4lbs 13oz when she was born!) so I was a bit worried about the tutu fitting, but that worry quickly went away. There is a big bow on the front that you can tie yourself to adjust the fit of the tutu, which is awesome especially when you have a little bitty like Layla. The headband I received is a handmade satin flower on a skinny headband. I really like these headbands because the band is so soft and stretchy that it didn’t leave any marks on Layla’s forehead and wasn’t too tight yet still fit well.  The headband and tutu together are absolutely adorable! I love the different types of bows and variety of products that Koliden’s Gifts offers! It’s not just children’s products but gift baskets for mom, dad, or anyone!

Here's my adorable niece in her adorable tutu and headband!! She wasn't a happy camper at the time, but it just made it even cuter!!

I am especially excited about this sponsor because not only is she local but I graduated high school! We’ve basically grown up together and now we are both full time mommy’s! It’s great! I have to brag a little, I am the one who introduced her to cloth diapers, but I had no clue she would take off and make her own AWESOME cloth diapers!

About the Designer:

I'm Amanda and I am a happily married mommy to a very active toddler named Kyson. We live on a farm in Northeast Georgia. Some people may already know me from my blog, Preemie Mama. We started using cloth after an allergic reaction to the chemicals in disposables. I did a little research and the rest is history. (Thanks to Michelle.) I got tired of not getting the diapers I wanted so I decided to make my own. Thus Rockabitty Baby was born. Right now I'm only doing customs locally and through facebook but I'm working on opening a hyenacart store in the next month. 

The Review:

I received the one-size Nikybaby Pocket Diaper from Rockabitty Baby to review.  I knew right away just by looking and touching the diaper that I this diaper was very well made! The diaper has hidden PUL within and a fleece inside that is super soft! I used a microfiber insert inside the pocket, and once again put it on Noah for his nap. He is still a pretty heavy wetter during naps and at bedtime so naptime really puts a diaper to the test.  Well, after a two hour nap the diaper was soaked on the inside but he was dry! No leaks! I am a huge fan of this diaper because it is not only a pocket, which are my favorite kinds of diaper, but also because it is one size. So even when Noah is out of diapers completely I can use it on the new baby!  I told Amanda I wanted more for the new baby already! These diapers are awesome!

So I’m not going to lie. When I decided to participate in this event, I wanted to check out as many items as I could for my pregnancy! When I found Fawn Maternity I was so thrilled!

About the Designer:

My name is De, I live in North Carolina. I’m engaged, getting married in December 2011, and expecting our first child in August. I make a little bit of everything, but lately have been focusing on maternity clothes and baby items. I started doing maternity once I started to show with this pregnancy and found that I hated most maternity clothing out there, or found it to be too expensive, considering I'd only be wearing it for a few months. I’ve always been into sewing and design, but just started my shop in May 2011. 

The Review:

I received a belly band from Fawn Maternity to review. Lately, Belly Band’s are my favorite things because they allow me to still wear my regular clothing and still look cute and be comfortable!  The big thing that I love about the Fawn Maternity belly bands is that they come in so many varieties of colors and are much more affordable than the ones you get at the store or order from bigger online stores.  I received a purple belly band to try which is awesome because my favorite color is purple! I really like these belly bands because I can fulfill the layered look with them and not have to worry about my belly or my back showing!  The belly band fits well too and also has room to grow so I can continue to wear it as I grow!

Another cloth diapering item I have always wanted to try is a cloth swim diaper. I’ll admit, we usually just buy the Huggies Little Swimmers for Noah. So when I was given the opportunity to review a swim diaper from Snugs Boutique I was very excited!

About The Designer:

My name is Andrea Stanley and I am the owner/operator of Snugs Boutique. I am married and am the mama of a very spirited (but good!) three year old boy. I have always had a passion for sewing and design. This passion transferred over to baby products when my son was 5 months old. I had been contemplating the idea of using cloth for him but had no idea where to start. I began researching and realized that the best thing to do was to try to make my own. This eventually developed into the wide range of designs and options I make and sell today. Now that my son is potty trained it gave me an opportunity to develop a potty trainer, unfortunately now I have no idea who I’m going to get to test all of my new products now! 

The Review:

I received a blue swim diaper to review on Noah. My tall and skinny guy was almost too big for the size I thought would fit him but I was able to review it on him once before he grew out of it completely! I love how these diapers feel and look like a cloth diaper, yet work just like a disposable swim diaper. The inside is soft fleece which is comfy against baby’s skin and the outside is made of PUL. I was honestly a little skeptical about how a cloth swim diaper would work, but in all honesty I think it works better than a disposable. One great thing about the swim diaper was that it didn’t get heavy when in the water. It was lightweight and didn’t absorb the water, yet fit well enough to keep any mess in. They are also much more affordable than disposables since you can wash it and re-use it! I think I’m going to be using cloth swim diapers from now on!

Another awesome body product that is handmade! I love lip balm! Like seriously I have about 6 in my purse right now! Hubby and I both use lip balm or chapstick a lot! So of course I was excited to find the handmade lip balm shop, EcoLips!

The Review:

I received three different lip balms to review. I received chocolate mint, kiwi strawberry, and the sun protection spf 15 berry flavored. I also received an Eco Clip that holds the chapstick in place on a keychain that can hook on to your book bag, purse, or diaper bag!  The lip balm smells and “tastes” great! It’s soft and lightweight and really moisturizes my lips! At such an affordable price it’s easy to feed my addiction to lip balm hehe!

I go in to the field when I start my schooling for massage and spa therapy six years ago. When I’m not planning, mixing, brewing products, or playing mom, I am going to school full time and in the Navy Reserves.

Lotion Stick

The Review:

I received a lotion stick to review from SheDragon Body. A lotion stick is awesome because it’s a way to moisturize your skin without the mess or greasiness of lotion! You don’t even have to get it on your hands at all if you don’t want to! The lotion sticks that Crystal makes are made from beeswax, sweet almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, essential oils and/or flavoring oils. It comes in a huge variety of scents and you can even get an unscented stick! I received the Dreamsicle scent to review and oh my goodness it smells so good! I don’t even know how to describe it other than amazing! The lotion stick is easy to use and rolls up and down as needed. All you do is roll a bit anywhere on your body and you’re good to go! It really gets rid of the mess lotion can sometimes have. It’s also great for when you’re in a hurry!  I love to rub some on when I’m about to walk out the door. My skin feels moisturized and smells great too! At such an affordable price ($4 a stick) you could have one of every scent! I really love this lotion stick and know that all of the other products are just as great at SheDragon Body Products!
