Charitable Creations Jewelry Giveaway! {Made with Love Giveaway Hop!}

Our next Made with Love Giveaway sponsor is Charitable Creations Jewelry! If you recall, they were a sponsor in the first Made with Love event I participated in! You can check out my review HERE

About the Designer

Hi, I'm Shelly the owner and designer of Charitable Creations Jewelry. I am a very proud mom to two wonderful boys, Joseph 19 and Brandon 15. We live in beautiful North Central Massachusetts where I work from my home studio. I create personalized and custom hand stamped jewelry gifts. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and have always dreamed of owning my own business and being my own boss. One day in 2009 I was searching the internet for some gift ideas and came across some hand stamped items. I immediately knew that that was what I wanted to do. I did a ridiculous amount of research and then just jumped right in. I'm inspired by everything! My children and family, nature and just the world around me.I have been running Charitable Creations Jewelry for over 2 years.

Asparagus Giveaway! {Made with Love Giveaway Hop!}

Our first sponsor for the Made with Love Giveaway Hop is Asparagus

About The Designer

The designer of Asparagus is Alyson Vore.

"I am Designer with a Fine Art background, living in Washington DC. I live with my boyfriend and our 4 cats!  Still waiting for him to pop the Big Question! I am always making new, fun crafty things. I worked for a Maternity Photographer in Southern California, and she had me lead workshop classes on how to make hair clips for her clients. I just loved the way the mommies would exclaim with joy when I made something for their daughters for photo shoots-- such a rewarding feeling. When I moved to DC, I kept on doing what I was doing for her. I have been crafting and making art since I was very young, and anything and everything inspires me."

CampusBookRentals.com-- Save Some Cash Next Semester!

Since I have just recently graduated college the cost of books are still very fresh on my mind! College textbooks cost a fortune these days and it is not easy on a college student's wallet! If you are or have been a college student you know exactly what I'm talking about! CampusBookRentals.com is here to make life a little bit easier on you and your wallet next semester!

With CampusBookRentals.com you can rent your textbooks at a cheaper price than paying full price to own them! It's such an easy process too! All you do is type in the title or ISBN number of your book to find it. Then once you find it you select it to rent it and select how long you need to rent it for. You then checkout and can determine how fast you need it shipped and it will arrive on your doorstep when you need it! It's that simple! Then when it's time to return it they provide the return envelope so shipping is free and easy!

Other Great Benefits

  • They provide free shipping options both ways!
  • 30 Day Risk Free Return- If you drop your class or get the wrong book you can return the book within 30 days for a FULL refund!
  • 15 Day Grace Period! If you need your book until the very last day of the semester you still have time to get it shipped back!
  • Rental periods for Semesters, Quarters, and even Summer rentals!
  • You can re-rent a book for up to 30% less than the original rental price!
I absolutely love the free shipping options and the 15 day grace period offered by CampusBookRentals.com! The website I used to rent from would charge you if you didn't return the book in time and that was usually before the semester was over! So it was always a hassle to get it shipped back! I think the 15 day grace period is a super awesome service!

And if that's not awesome enough, CampusBookRentals.com has teamed up with Operation Smile to change the lives of those in need! With every book rented they will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Operation Smile to fulfill their goal of providing 1,000 surgeries to children with cleft lips! That is an amazing donation and you can help just by renting your books from CampusBookRentals.com!

So if you are in college, or know someone who is, and love to save money CampusBookRentals.com is a great way to do that! You can rent your books for so much cheaper than buying them and while your renting you can help children in need! There's no beating that!

Ready to Do It! {Breastfeeding class and Pregnancy Update}

So last night, hubs and I dropped Noah off with his grandparents and we went to a breastfeeding class at the hospital that I am delivering at! It was a two hour class called Breastfeeding Basics. Now if you've kept up with my blog in the past, you know I tried it with Noah but only made it to 4 months. This time my number one goal is to breastfeed Isaac exclusively for at least a year. So I want to be as educated and prepared as possible.

The class was super helpful! A lot of the stuff I did already know but it was great to refresh my memory of it. And there was also a lot of new things I learned, like how to tell if baby is getting enough and ways to relieve sore nipples and breasts! Brian learned a lot too about how he can be supportive and helpful with the breastfeeding process. We were talking about how we wanted to do things in the car after the class and he was telling me how he would help because he knew how important it was now!

I really feel a lot more comfortable and confident with my decision to breastfeed and stick with it this time! I highly recommend taking a breastfeeding class if you are pregnant and want to breastfeed your baby! You will learn a ton!

Pregnancy Update - 36 weeks!

I also had my 36 week checkup yesterday! I can't believe I am already at weekly checkups! This pregnancy has flown by! Baby Isaac will seriously be here within just a matter of weeks (if that!). My checkup went well. My blood pressure was good, which makes me very happy, with my Preeclampsia history. I was measuring about two weeks behind, so the doctor wants to do an ultrasound at my appointment next week, just to get an accurate measurement. She wasn't too concerned since I've been measuring dead on every time until now. She said he may just be extremely low or was balled up when she measured me. But hey, I get to see my little guy! So I'm totally ok with an ultrasound!

Blogging may slow down a bit as we get closer to baby Isaac's arrival. I am hoping to go in to labor naturally this time so I may not be able to update when it does happen, but I will hopefully either update on my Facebook page or update after the little guy is born! I promise! Thanks for all your support and sticking with me! I hope you'll continue to follow my journey as a new mommy of 2 soon!
