I am not very good yet and can only do a square but I find it very enjoyable and relaxing! I would love to learn how to make beautiful hats and blankets and pot holders, etc. I don't know how much time I will have once Isaac arrives, but maybe eventually I can make something as beautiful as some of the hand made products I saw during the event!
Here's my little square I was able to make:
Not bad huh?! So now I wanna know...do you have a hobby?! Are you crafty? If so what do you do! I'd love to know!
I learned to crochet when I was young and just learned to knit in the last few years. I still fall back to crocheting because it comes easier for me. I just finger crocheted a scarf I posted on my blog. If you aren't familiar with Ravelry.com, check it out, for crocheters and knitters.
ReplyDeletei just taught myself to crochet a few weeks ago after I saw a friend's baby wearing the cutest froggy hat. I practiced with the squares and I made a hat :) Now I am on hat #2
ReplyDeleteI learned to crochet quite a few years ago by watching my grandmother, aunt and mom crochet blankets. Now, I can handle a blanket no problem, but since I was never taught to "read" the "language" in crocheting books, I'm having a hard time moving past blankets. One day I'll master it, I'm sure. ;)
