About the Designer

 Hello everyone, my name is Heather Reynolds. My family and I live in Hartwell. I have been married to my best friend for almost 20 years and we have two very big boys, 19 and 16. My storey for this business is more like a testimony. I had worked 13 years in law enforcement as a 911 dispatcher, and was completely burnt out on the harshness of the world. I decided to make a change in my life, I was saved and committed myself to the Lord and these amazing abilities begin to show up in my life. I  became more interested in making things with my hands and being creative. So I began to crochet, slowly but surely the creations started forming. I don’t use patterns but I can look at pictures and create animals or flowers for hats and scarves. My husband and I took a trip to Amish country and that began the interest in quilting. So now I make quilts up to queen size and make custom crib sets for mothers who want something unique for their precious bundle of joy. I believe every baby should have something to treasure, all their own, from the very beginning.  I have been doing this business for almost two years now and I hope to do it from now on. It brings me great joy to see the children and adults wearing their hats. And it warms my heart when I make a quilt for someone and it means so much to them. I make a lot of what I call memory quilts. I take clothing items from a loved one who has passed and I make them into a quilt. I have had customer cry when they receive their quilt because each square or piece reminds them of times they spent with their loved one. I am experiencing that bittersweet joy now while I work on one from my grandfather passing for my mom. The finishing and restorations of quilts also brings warmth to my heart. I take pieces of quilts or a quilt that someone’s loved one started and couldn’t finish and I am able to finish so that they can have something to pass on for generations to come.
