Weekend Getaways!
I always get stressed when we go on long trips. There's just so much to do with two small kiddos! So much to pack, and so much to prepare for! But Brian wanted to go see he Dad, who lives about 5 hours away so we packed up and went on a weekend getaway! It turned out to be a lot of fun! The boys loved it and I didn't forget anything too major! (I did forget my favorite new boots though :/) We had such a nice relaxing time! Here's a few pictures!

Looks like a beautiful day! It can be overwhelming to travel with kids. I admit other than day trips, I have only gone to my mom's for overnight with them.

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good time! That stinks that you forgot your boots! I always dread traveling since i have to pack so much for the baby now, but if I just get motivated enough to do it early on I find it's less stressful on the day we need to leave.

ReplyDeleteThe Southern weather in your pictures always makes me so jealous! My parents live 5.5 hours away too so I get the hesitancy to visit but it is so nice to get away!
