Freschetta {Proud to Support Pink} Review & Giveaway!

October is National Breast Cancer awareness month and Freschetta is doing what they can to help support research by presenting Freschetta Proud to Support Pink Program!

Through October 31st, 2011, when you purchase specially marked packages of Freschetta pizza and Artisan pizza crusts you will be helping Freschetta reach their goal of a $50,000 donation to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The specially marked pizza boxes are printed with codes that you can enter at www.ProudToSupportPink.com - for each code entered, the makers of Freschetta will donate $1 to this center to support breast cancer research. You can also enter your code on the Freschetta Facebook Page!

Freschetta is also giving away 50 pink iPod shuffle players each week in October as part of a giveaway on the site to encourage participation and sharing of this program! They will also be donating 50 pink iPod shuffles to four cancer centers around America for breast cancer patients to enjoy!

The Review


As part of the Freschetta Fresh Connection Team I was given the opportunity to review a Freschetta pizza! I also received 2 pairs of Freschetta Proud to Support Pink earphones which my sister and I now enjoy everytime we listen to music, and it's a great reminder of the Breast Cancer Awareness Cause!


I reviewed the Brick Oven Pepperoni and Italian Cheese pizza! Freschetta is honestly one of my favorite kinds of frozen pizza! I love it because it doesn't taste like frozen pizza at all! The Brick Oven pizza was delicious! It's covered in yummy cheese and huge chunks of pepperoni! To me, Freschetta pizza tastes like something you would eat fresh at your favorite pizzeria! Frozen pizza is so convenient for most families on those busy nights when you get home late from work or school activities and need something quick. So if your looking for a YUMMY, quick and easy meal, Freschetta frozen pizzas are great! They come in so many flavors and varieties also!

    I love sausage pizza - so glad there is so much support for breast cancer -my mom recently had both of her breasts removed due to cancer - the caring and support that was given to her at the hospital was incredible - she goes in this Wed. to have her new "boobie" put in... She is happy to get rid of the spreaders that she had had since the surgery.. There is so much to breast cancer that most people are so unaware of..
