Applecheeks Swim Diaper Review & Giveaway!!

So I have a horrible confession to make. I've been cloth diapering my kiddos since 2009 but I've only once TRIED a swim diaper. I have mostly always used the disposable swim diapers!  I told you it was horrible! But this summer I knew I wanted to give cloth swim diapers a real try and see how I liked them. So when I was given the opportunity to review an Applecheeks Swim Diaper I was so excited because I had heard nothing but great things about these swim diapers and I wanted to see for myself! 

The Applecheeks Swim Diapers are made in the two size system just like Applecheeks diapers. Size one fits 7-20 pounds and size two fits 18-35 pounds. The swim diapers are also the same style as the Applecheeks envelope cover. The swim diapers just have two layers of 100% polyester Canadian-milled mess inside. This mesh makes it possible for water to flow throughout the diaper without bulking up but keeps any mess contained. They come in three super cute colors too! 


I received the swim diaper in Mojito in size 2 to try on Isaac. We swim all summer long so this was perfect timing to give it a try! Right away I loved how it was just the simple mesh inside so I knew it wouldn't get bulky or heavy. The fit is great on Isaac! He is just above 18 pounds and it fits on the smallest setting perfectly! 


It works so great in the water! He's worn it in our little backyard kitty pool and our bigger community pool and it's been great! It's super comfy, easy to get on an off, and no bulk whatsoever in the pool! We haven't had any poopy messes at the pool yet this year, but I feel confident that if and when we do the Applecheeks swim diaper will contain the mess! I also love how quickly it dries! I seriously don't know why I didn't try washable swim diapers sooner!
