Welcome to Petals and Pine. I'm Christy, a 27-year-old wife to Devan and mother to 19-month-old Jeremiah. We have a furbaby, an English Mastiff/Bullmastiff mix named Ares, and I have an American Quarter Horse named CoCo. I'm also a full-time college student pursuing a degree in medical coding. I am passionate about history, animals, genealogy, and all things nature-related. My blog is a journal of our family, a way to document our adventures and momentous occasions. I write about things that are important to me and I share a lot of pictures, so be forewarned. I'm a combination of country farmhouse and vintage. I love literature, poetry, music and art.
